68 w30 wiw?

Welcome to the site, I moved your post to the General Discussion forum. You'll need pictures of the car, interior, exterior, engine compartment, etc. Vin#, Data Tag on the firewall, and list any docs that come with the car for a start.

The '68 can't be proven to be a W30 unless its original auto trans is in place and intact. Or it has papers, like a protecto-plate.
The VIN can tell 442-ness but not W30-ness. The body tag will have a Cutlass body type... if it's a Lansing built car.
Only Lansing cars can be W30 [M in the VIN, LAN in the body tag].

-Manual Brakes
Then there's a lot of unboltable things like red inner fender liners, OAI scoops and hoses and air cleaner, WWF jug on RH side, usually have factory gages, often have the faux wood steering wheel, the fender stripe [can be deleted though], the fender numeral location to match the fender stripe, the dash stripe [all 442's I believe], etc.
Look at any eBay ad to see how they are NOT supposed to look :-)
[eBay offerings are usually different in several ways, chiefly the stripe]

going look at the cars tomorrow
iam going look at these cars tomorrow to evaluate them, they are only a couple of hours from me I also spoke the seller, and was sent pictures, location means good things at times
