68 toro window issues

68 toro window issues

my hot wire is dead but I have power at the fuse box. are there any stops on the way to the door from the fuse box?

I've not had a 1968 Toro apart, but the Cutlass has a relay behind the drivers side kickpanel. That's between the fuse box and the power window motor.

There is a thirty or forty amp circuit breaker under the hood that supplies power to the above mentioned relay. Relay is rectangular with two studs sticking out and a flat tab with two screws to hold it to the firewall. Two 10 ga. red wires (or possibly orange w/ black tracer) mounted under the studs of the circuit breaker. One wire from power source and the other to the relay. Key energizes relay and power is sent on it's merry way.
