56 Willys
56 ******
I thought this might be entertaining for some of you older members. My brother-in-law was going to have to sell his truck. His Grandmother owned it since almost new, and he's had it about 35 years. I told him he could keep it in my garage on the island, so he dragged it over on Tuesday and we tucked it in for a few years.
Not an Olds, but has it's own type of coolness.

I think he said it has 50-60 thousand original on it. Some rust in the floor and box from spending some years outside. Six cylinder four wheel drive. Has JEEP pressed into the metal, I think. Very heavy steel. He backed a bus into the fender and bent it slightly. I couldn't straighten it by hand. Amazingly strong material.
Very cool! a buddy's dad has the wagon version sitting in a car port it kills me every time I see it
I can remember a friends dad had a truck one just like this when, I was in elementary school humm wonder if that's why I became a car guy

A Willis truck will be my next project If I ever get through with my Cutlass Project and have some time to recuperate. (Physically, mentally and financially
). Very cool truck. Thanks for sharing

Ya she's a little unique. Its a Canadian born truck that was used in Saskatchewan as a grain truck. It has a 9' bed and had a dump box added to it which I have torn off to go back to original. It was in running… not stopping condition when I picked it up. I believe it is the same as the American 8300 series model.
