68 Front Drum brake actuator link?

Does any parts supplier have the "short" style self adjuster actuator link that is on many GM cars that have the "bridge" rather than the "pivot" at the top of the drum brake setup? every parts supplier i have checked says that the front and rear is the same and that just IS NOT TRUE - the rear pivot style actuator link only will work on a front backing plate with the same style pivot as the rear. The actuator link for the "bridge" style post is much shorter and also the shoe spring does NOT attach to the actuator link as in the pivot style. I havent been able to find this part in any store -- Even our "friends" at INLINE TUBE have it wrong and list the rear self-adjustor kit being the same for use on the front! (with the longer pivot mounted actuator link). Not sure how many years or GM models use the "bridge" style mount on their backing plates but i know there are quite a few. You would think this would be a standard easy-to-find brake hardware piece? Ive had no luck -- who can help -- I may have to resort to finding used or junk-yard part? Everyone that has ever converted drums to disks has probably thrown these little rascals in the scrap hopper!
Joe Padvano --- I bet youve got an answer for me?

Is this the bridge style your describing? If so I've got complete brakes on a 1967 Cutlass Chassis. If there's any parts on these you need, and your willing to take used parts just let me know. I won't have time until the weekend to pull things apart but they're available. John

yes. your pic is the exact setup i have. i resorted to digging through a boxful of old brake parts and actually found found 2 of these elusive rods(links). I still have not found a supplier of this part new. I figured Dorman would have them but cant find them listed anywhere. Anyway -- ive got it all together using old OE links.
thanks
