Yea, I think there is some manipulation going on.

There is another drug commercial that uses an orange colored mustang, except its modified in AI fashion too. NO side scallops-body lines and weird tail lights.

 

That was my first thought. In the first picture the top doesn't look like the correct proportion to the rear quarter panel.

 

That Mustang looks wierd! No side features and square headlights.

 

Definitely digitally altered. Why?

 

Licensing issues? Would they have to pay Ford or GM to use a vehicle in their commercials?

Would you ask your doctor about the drug since a classic car was in the ad? Would you refuse to take it if your doctor prescribed it since they digitally altered an Oldsmobile?

 

I don't think I've ever seen a drug commercial that made me want to call my doctor and say "I need that!" They ALL make me turn the channel, change the station or skip.

It is similar to a 68 442 but bumpers are cut off flat and other weird stuff, Yep like that "Mustang" in the other ad. Sad thing is most people won't even notice.
