'67 Toro fan motor

From: from Wisc, then Texas, then Kansas, now back to Texas,
'67 Toro fan motor

Fan motor went out on my '67 Toronado, have power to the fan ....made a big schreech and then nothing...so..... what is the easiest way to get it out ? can I cut an opening in the fender well ?......question # 2 ............what motor will fit as a replacememnt ? Or what motor can I make fit ?.......thanks.................P S > as my shop is full, I will be doing this outside and , yes , it's very cold !

never mind....NAPA has a motor , in stock , and just going to cut the inner fender, woory about patching it later

I worked it a radiator shop when I was in high school and we always cut the inner fender to install those. The secret was to cut it on only 3 sides and fold the flap down then you could just push it back up and tack it in place with a couple of sheet metal screws in the corners and silicone the cuts shut.

There are actually 4 divots on the fender well if you can get it clean enough to see them use die grinder to cut 2 sides & bottom making it easier to re seal . I have had customers request to pull inner fender Or front clip I Charge by the hour& broken bolts & Blood
