67 Power Seat

I am needing parts for my power drivers seat. The drive gear is stripped. I’m there any help out there?

I've got parts from the full sized car six way seat, not sure its the same as used on the 4 way seats. I can get some pictures and a couple measurements if that would help.

Yes I would like that. I need the drive gear that moves the seat forward. The drive cable from motor attaches to it.

Try a seller on eBay, brett883. He rebuilds power seat setups and also sells parts. Not cheap, but does first class work

I looked for his name but couldn’t find anything. Do you have anyway to contact him?

Are you talking about the gear in the transmission or the little servo that mounts on the track? I have NOS gears for the transmission but no servos. The little servos for forward and back are tough to find and usually not cheep if you do find a good one.

The power is transmitted from the motor through the cable into the unit with a gear that mounts to the side of the track. The unit with the gear is the problem. I think that’s what you refer to as a servo.
I guess I’ll have to buy a manual track but that not a desirable option.
unless you have a better option.
Thanks for the help

Yes, that is the weak link to the 4 way power seats. I know I don't have any more of them. Is the square nub on the top busted out on it? Usually that is what is wrong with them.

I still think I may have the parts on a 6 way seat. Can you post or send me photos of the different sides to the piece you need?

As far as finding a seller on Ebay by name 1) click on the advanced search button at the top right of the Ebay intro screen 2) click on the by seller tab on the left side of the screen 3) scroll down to the Sellers section and click/check on the "only show items from:" box 4) then where it shows "incude", type brett883 into that box ) then scroll to the bottom and hit the search button. It will show his current listings and you can click on one of his listings that will show a Contact seller area near the top right of the screen. Good luck

That appears to be a very nice unit to start with. I am betting that it only needs taken apart and cleaned up, greased and reassembled. I have done several of these and are not to hard to do.

That gear is not likely stripped out. If it were then the entire seat would move back and forth without hitting the button at all. That gear is the only thing that keeps it from moving when you are not adjusting it. It sounds just like 90% of them I rebuild. Just needs taken apart, cleaned and greased and will work like new. From what I see in the pictures, I would bet it does not need any parts at all.
