Trim tag decode looks correct, it is actually in the front of the assembly manual.

Muscle cars have three pedals, show us a picture of the '66.

My first car when I got in '75 I was 16.

Not to many 66 Cutlass with factory 4-speeds. Like to see more pictures of your car. My 66 Cutlass convertible is a factory 4-speed also. Have fun.

Thank you, looks like I missed a couple things.. first time deciphering trim codes etc, can get confusing.. I will be looking at this car, owner has had it 30 years, says it was sold to him as all original engine etc but he has never verified it. Am I basically looking for B heads etc? V in the cast numbers by the filler tube? Appreciate any help..the photo I posted looks like an aftermarket air cleaner for sure

air cleaner top looks original but base is not. Looks like it has a holley carb on it. this not stock, air cleaner hold down should be chrome and can be bought aftermarket reproduction. valve covers are aftermarket, Should have V code on the right head, B heads, 390390 intake, E code 400 motor, no vin on these to "numbers match" but if the original protector plate is in the warranty book, the V code on the head would be in it. IF all original and only proves one head is original. Nice car, Hope it works out.

Thank you, will check it out, supposed to video it for me soon. Obviously its been painted black from sierra mist, Doc says the paint has been on there since he bought it 30 years back..so i am sure its a 10’ footer but says no rust, always stored inside. We shall see..asking 26, thinking 23 would be right as it cost a grand to ship it.

Good luck with it. Shipping has nothing to do with what it is worth. That is your issue for not being closer to it. Just some input. The price is fair in my book. As long as it is what it looks like. I would never buy a car for that much money and not see it in person first. Just my 2 cents. Wish the best. Stay healthy and enjoy it.
