that is one thing i was wondering about.also the cal built only got 12 bolts,never heard that one..

I owned a Fremont L69 back in the day, and it had the 8.2 also.

This car must be one of those famous 1 of 1 cars...........

Z in the VIN just means built at the Fremont, CA plant. Those cars' cowl tags don't show the option codes "proving" it is a 442 like Lansing cars do. It has a Type O 12 bolt cover/10 bolt ring gear differential that was first available in May 1966, but the car was built in December 1965, so it is not original. Nor was the Type O unique to CA cars.

Looks like a lot of stuff like the grille is missing. Lots of rust. Maybe "solid" means solid rust, lol. If it was a 4-speed car originally, there would be a tab welded to the frame for the Z bar.

This car was on Cincinnati Craigslist for several months. Just my opinion, it is a money pit and overpriced.
