What about this one?

https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0117-26...42-club-coupe/

This was an Alabama car sold out of Gores Corvette world last spring - I think it was for around 20k, and it quickly changed hands a few times and ended up here. Thought it was a pretty good deal at 20....

"Documented with Protect-O-Plate"

If the P-o-P is real, wouldn't it show an engine unit number suffixed with a "T"?

Disclaimer?

Good catch with the protecto-plate! There is zero further reference to documentation.

The blue car is a cloned up unit. It was originally from a town about 10 miles from me. It was a three on the tree V-8 and was turned into a 442 by a friend of mine. I built the carbs on it right before he sold it. He never misrepresented the car either but as with most of these cars, the story gets changed to optimize profits.

The world is smaller than you think, people know each other. Hell, even my car was known about on here before I bought it, by the man in Brazil, no less.

66 did not use notched valve covers because they used a smaller brake booster unlike the larger 67 booster. 67 did not use a notched cover on the passenger side because there no conflict with the A/C housing.
