65 442 question

I came across a 65 442 rolling chassis. I have only seen pictures at the moment. It looks pretty nice considering. The car was being set up for drag racing. The owner pulled the engine and transmition for his truck. Anyway it has no interior, just 2 bucket seats. The floor pans are replaced. It was backed into a tree. Not sure how bad. I'll go have a look later this week and get a better idea. Also some more pictures.
20 years ago this would seem like a good project. Too old for that now. Anyway he wanted $500 for it. He has title, and it must have been driving. Any opinions
Thanks

Went to have a look today. Unfortunately the guy wasn't home I got some pictures. But couldn't get any questions answered. The car is all right considering it's been parked under the trees for awhile. No gaping rust hole to see. The dash board is missing the center center section, would of been nice to see if he has it in a shed somewhere. I got some more pics of the inside angina bay and such, but these should give you an idea.

Worth 500 all day the side scoops are hard to find in decent condition and are worth 200+ depending on conditions.
body parts are hard to find but not impossible. The damage looks very minor and fixable. As a parts car you could make some money on front clip quarter panels and trim.
As a project interior is pretty much repopped would just need to find dash plate snd rear seat.
the back pot metal panel would need replace with trunk lid depending on damage the trunk floor may need some work but a good body guy could straighten that back body section

nice find either way you go

Today $500. is like $50. was in the 80's. I say buy it. It's gotta be worth that for parts alone!

Be cool to see that car get some love. I agree on 500 bucks in today's world being a good deal for that car. Doesn't look like rear shot is too too bad. I am not really the Centerline expert but you may have a chunk of the 500 just in those wheels. If they are actually Centerlines.
