Today I cleaned the carburetor tag on my recently acquired barn find 65 442. What I thought was a rip in the tag when covered in gunk appears too uniform now that it has been cleaned. To me it looks like an arrow. I searched the web and found a reference to a carburetor tag inspection punch but no picture was provided. I was unable to find any tags that looked similar. Has anyone seen this before? The tag is correct for an A/C car with a December 64 build date. Also, does anybody have any references for a company to rebuild the carburetor and replate it? It looks like mice had their way with it during its 40+ years in storage.
