Sounds like it.

Does your car have aftermarket 4-way flashers?

Do the taillights and front signal lights work normally?

brake light issues

There is no four ways and all the lights seem to work normal.I ordered a manual that should help.I never have known how they isolate the turns from the brakes without having feed back. Thanks for the reply.I will keep you posted Jim

Signal light switch in thc column, then.

There's always a chance you can clean it up and get it working, but the complete assembly may be a bit hard to find new.

NAPA does have a "repair kit," though, consisting of a single part, which may be what you need.

I agree. The switch isolates the brake from the turn. With brake pressed volts go through the turn switch. When switch is centered, both brake lights are lit. When switch is on right turn, brake volts go to left light and vice/versa.
