64/65 fan shroud

Does anyone have a 64 or 65 fan shroud that you could get measurements from? maybe a picture? I want to install a shroud on my Jetfire and they never made one for them. I think a 64-65 shroud may be close to fitting good.

Next... where would i locate one?

Eric, the 1965 plastic ones are the only thing I've seen available repop. Here's pictures of the one that came with my 1964 convertible project but I plan to use it on that car. I still need one for the 4 speed car and have found them to be few and far between. If you want measurements to try and fabricate something let me know. John

WOW, thanks John. I thought it would be a full shroud and not a ring. Not sure how much it would help compared to a full shroud. I need all the help i can get to keep this thing cool in hot weather. I must be thinking of a 66 or 67? i thought i had seen small ones that were full shrouds.

The 1965 seals much more of the radiator. Check out 442bro.com as 65rocket mentioned. There's a picture and link to the guy reproducing them.

From the home screen click on the tab For Sale. Then scroll down to the bottom. My screen took a while to fully load, but there's a picture and here's the text:

WOW !! After 40 years, FINALLY IT"S HERE !!! This is a Brand New Reproduction ABS plastic vacuum formed fan shroud. The die molds were cast from an extremly rare original 442 plastic shroud. This fan shroud will fit 64 65 Olds Cutlass "with or without" A.C. Anyone owning a 64 65 Cutlass will want one of these just for the excellent cooling that it brings to whatever motor you have installed. So it doesn't matter if you have A.C. or not, your car will run cooler and help your motor live longer. Mounting screws are included and will fit into the factory holes in your radiator core support. "NOTE": Only the 65 442's that came with factory Air were equiped with the molded ABS plastic fan shroud, and 64-65 330 c.i. cars with Air were equiped with the metal ring shroud. However the mounting holes are the same for either shroud, therefore this new shroud will fit correctly for both applications. COOL your ride down !! To place an order call: 1-727-599-9399 or email: jmuenze1@tampabay.rr.com New Low Price: $225.00

and tell him you found it on 442bro.com

The '64/65 shroud is way to big.
I think you best bet would be better off fabing one of your own out of aluminium. I would convert to electric fan sys, with relays to carry the load.

I thought about that but would like it to look stock/or at least like it should be there. I could use a pusher fan on the front side and you wouldn't know it was there but i here it is in the way at highway speeds. Also not sure how a pusher would work with a stock fan on the back. I wonder if the stock fan would affect the electric from the front. Something else i am looking into, the water pump pulley is underdriven. I can get an over drive pulley setup for it. Next is the issue of not knowing if the generator will keep up.

the 64 shown has the two cut outs, the 65 i have is identical exemp it has only one cut out. Could this be for the different waterpump route for the rad hose. ?

The ring type shroud are for AC cars, the more traditional ons are for 442's I believe.
I've never seen one from BRO's in the flesh...but here's an original.
