I want to reproduce the 63-64 starfire gas tank and sending units but i need to find samples to do this, does any one have one they are willing to sell, it can have rust and even leak just cant be crushed as we need a good pattern, can anyone help

 

You have a market as the tank also fits Dynamic and Super 88s and the Ninety Eight. With a couple of mods around the filler neck I think it will also fit 61 and 62 full-size Oldsmobiles.

Good luck. The big name Olds suppliers don't seem to have any interest in reproducing this four-year tank, yet they did the one-year-only 1958.

 

Maybe. Local yard here (Dona Ana NM) crushed out, in phases roughly 3 1/2 to one year ago. They had a '63 four door. I know of another in a Guys Anthony TX yard. Would need to be compensated for the travel, time and for any ship arrangements that might be made. Guess if nothing closer to you pops up, PM me. Dave S. Las Cruces NM
