57 exhaust
#2
Standard on Super 88 and Ninety Eight which had dual exhaust standard. Optional on 88 with dual exhaust.
Beautiful when new, a PITA to keep looking good, and bad about rusting out and corroding from exhaust gas. Looks like that car has had its exhaust routed under the ornament instead of thru it.
So, we see 68 442 was NOT actually the first Oldsmobile with thru-the-bumper exhaust, though the trumpet idea was easier to keep looking nice.
Sunset Glow and Alcan White is a beautiful color combination. I have a 1:12 diecast 57 in that identical color scheme. I wish Yat Ming had done their 62 Starfire in Sunset Mist instead of just Garnet Mist and Black.

Though I don't own one, I always thought that all '57's had 'em. I was looking at some that were for sale and saw an '88 which did not, and prompted me to ask. I would like one though, just a great looking car. I wonder if you were to Jet Hot the exhaust tip, if it might cure the blueing of the chrome and the eventual rust out.
