exhaust trumpets

Yeah, I'd like to know that too. Every place I've tried has 2 1/4" tips. Some say you can expand them to 2 1/2, but I bet they'll either split or crack the chrome. And of course, once you modify them, you own them. Anybody?

Go to AutoZone or NAPA and pick up a reducer pipe. The restriction is so late and so small, you won't notice the difference. I know of a couple of guys in San Antonio that are doing that right now. (One is reducing from 3" pipes on a BBO 70 SX.)
Another option might be for something to fit from 2 1/2" to go OVER the end of the trumpet. Not being a welder, I'm not sure how that would work.
