442 Wheel Pinstripe

My '87 442 wheels have a gold pinstripe on them. Were these made in a circular shape or is it straight pinstripe that has carefully been put in a circle?

I don't have the answer to your question but I've striped a few wheels with regular straight stripe tape including a set of 83 H/O wheels if that helps. ...
