76-77 pinstripe question

I'm attempting to replicate the proper pinstripes on my 76 Cutlass. I know the placement and pattern. I just need to know how thick each stripe is. For example: top stripe 2/8", bottom stripe 1/8" with 3/16" space in between. Also correct me if I'm wrong. A black on black Cutlass would have white pinstripes? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks man. Search "black on black 76" in albums. I just uploaded some pictures yesterday.
