Hello all, a friend of mine sent this to me and I wanted to see if anyone could fact check it. If its true it would be awsome as long as they do it justice.

While GM did trademark the Oldsmobile name recently to discourage infringement on using its name to sell aftermarket bling, it has no plans to reinvent the brand. The link you posted is just more AI generated BS.
There goes the Internet again, often more fiction than fact. AI and opinions have replaced critical thinking and reality; although the (W-25?) hood on this fake 2026 actually looks ok.

[QUOTE=69CSHC;1651409]Here she is Twilight, and she happens to be blue to boot.
69CHC,
Thank you!! And the color looks very close to twilightblue28A. Good looking car. A factory warranty. Just think, knowing what I know now, I would now save the dealers badge in the trunk, the order sheet, window sticker, and the build sheet, all of which I discarded when I took delivery of my '70 in 1970. The stickers attached to the accessories under the hood and the rear axle would still be discarded. I never saw a single 442 in '70 with any retained. If only I knew. Too bad GM dropped the brand.
Thank you!!

Who would build it? GM is in the business of building and selling overpriced electric trucks. No cars for them, or at least until sensible management is put in place.

I did a fact check and it is TRUE. Here is the first one sitting at Lansing Oldsmobile dealer

The website was created a couple days ago. The issue w/ these types of individuals creating these types of sites, is the fact some of the more unscrupulous people use these sites as a subterfuge to harness/gather IP addresses, network routing characteristics & even installing illegal Trojan s/w (designed to capture keystrokes, passwords, usernames, etc.). At the end of the day, it's tough to know their motive(s). Some are junkies playing about others are far more seriously invasive.
That Crawford reference reminded me of an awesome museum in Northeast Ohio, give it look if you're ever in Cleveland. If you can get a behind the scenes tour they have a huge collection that is in storage as well while they repair and rotate the floor collection.
Yep, and sites like those rely on the proliferation via Social media to spread themselves like a virus, having the users to do the work.
Don't outsource your critical thinking to AI.
