Anyone have any ideas on what the guages are for (last picture)?

Boy, don't you know that thing could be a handful? but I bet it's a blast to drive! Cheap enough for sure.

I think there's one around here somewhere with a Corvair powertrain. Haven't seen it in a few years, but I rarely go into the area it's in.

The Mid Engineering chassis was designed and sold by former Oldsmobile engineer Bill Porterfield. It was a bolt-in replacement for the VW floorpan that was the basis for most kit cars. I remember when one of the Peterson magazines (I want to say Car Craft) did a story about his Toro-powered Kelmark back in the 1970s. I've always wanted one. Unfortunately I didn't see this auction until after it had ended (which is probably a good thing...).

Well then I shouldn't tell you there are 5 days left on the auction.

Gauges to check status while working on the engine makes sense.

What a blast it would be to drive!
