350TH stall converter

I have a 1972 Oldsmobile 350 rocket built mild with comp cam with a 520/523 lift I am running a 22-2600 stall 3.42 posi run good but want burn a tire when I stump on it someone said I need to jump up to a 2800 stall what do you think.

What does your current convertor flash at? That is a huge cam for a 350, I hope you have high compression.

What size stall should I go with do u think a 2800 would be good

I'm running a 512/512 on a 227/234 duration at .050 and for optimum track performance I need a 3000 stall minimum 2400 and that's on the tight side.
