330 question

Howdy, can a 330 block be bored out to use 350 pistons? If so, what piston would give compression around 10:1 with stock 330 heads, and can the 330 rods be retained? The engine is currently a 9:1. Thanks to all.

Yes, it is possible, many have done it. 330 rods can be used with 350 pistons; CR will be dictated by head combustion chamber volume and piston-to-deck clearance in addition to the piston dish and compression height.

If you bore to a STD bore 350 , these will get you to 10:1 or a bit more right away .http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBa...=1438720056030

If you want to back down to 9.5:1 use this in a STD 350 size http://www.ebay.com/itm/Speed-Pro-TR...d406fe&vxp=mtr

About 4-5 cc smaller than 68-72 350 heads as delivered I think around 64-65 cc versus 68-69 cc , either way got to check them. Can be milled down to 60 cc easily
