210 Days
I've been waiting for a Legendary sale to buy the back seat fabric for my convertible. I saw a post on FB yesterday that they have 20% off sale through today on manufactured items so I placed my order so I can get it done by next summer.....maybe not.....estimated lead time 210 days. I'll have to work fast when I get them on May 2nd 2022 if I want to make next summer..... The fabric must be sitting on a freighter off the Port of LA...
Hopefully Legendary is still in business by then. They had no problem charging my PayPal account the full amount.

I waited over 14 months for my rear door panels before they finally arrived. After about 13 months of waiting, I was able to track down someone who actually wanted to help or wanted me to stop calling every three days. I'm not sure which one it was---but my panels were shipped pretty quickly once I began those regular bi-weekly calls.
Good luck. Waiting is the new game and challenge for many things big and small.

Thanks for the heads up on the sale!
I assume that you do not want to mix and match parts from other providers to ensure the best match. Sounds like I need to order all my interior replacement parts from Legendary today.

That is definitely my concern, too, but it looks like Legendary does not list all the parts I need (missing the armrests in Parchment.)
My seats were recovered in PUI, on the original frames, springs, jute, foam, etc., before I bought the car. They are not bad. I've not seen Legendary in person, so cannot compare the two. But Legendary costs more than twice the price of PUI even when both are on sale. Can someone who has seen both describe the differences?
It's like a interest free loan, Take the money, 14 months later make the covers and ship them out, Or if customer decides to cancel order, just refund it. Where else can one get a interest free loan like that?? But Legendary is good stuff and they do stand behind their stuff. I paid to have my Legendary seat covers installed after looking them over. But sure enough after driving 1st time with new covers a thread broke and popped up in middle of front seat, very noticeable... I sent them a pic and asked if I could wait 6 months before sending back the cover because I wanted to drive car and take back apart when in storage over the winter. Everything turned our fine and they made up and sent me another front bottom seat cover. I was out the labor I paid the upholstery shop and the inconvenience but they did make it right, and they made and sent the replacement within a couple weeks.
Legendary has a very health backlog, that's just the way it is. Even in the best of times their lead was at least 6 months. The good thing is they do follow through and quality is quite reliably great.
As for the parchment armrests, if they have the material then they can make it. Just might have to talk to one of their reps about it as it might be a custom job and they might need you to ship some parts to them.

I had PUI pearl white interior and when I changed over the Legendary you could definitely see that their's was a bit whiter. No way they would match.
My shipping was $35. I wanted to pick mine up but that isn't an option on the on-line form. They used to not charge sales tax for out of state orders. That probably isn't an option anymore either
Mike,
I didn't realize they were so close until a few years ago. I never really paid attention until I visited a supplier in the area, I drove past it and did a double-take then looked it up online. Yep just down the road.
Legendary interiors just look crisp. Was at Lake George this year (as you know) and there were at least two cars with legendary interiors(convos with the owners revealed). Very Sharp! You get what you pay for. One was red, one was pearl.
I've been dabbling in the idea of putting the correct parchment interior back in the red car or maybe another black one. The custom job is beginning to get tired as are the bucket springs & foam. Finding a parchment console, seatbacks, and A-pillar covers could be challenging. But that could segway into that M20 or Tremec I've always wanted, no console.

Thanks for posting that chart, Mike. I had not seen that one before. Did I miss it in the PIM? It got me thinking. My '68 4-4-2 was originally a 949 interior (D-D exterior), per the trim tag. A P.O. had altered the interior as well as external paint. The re-covered buckets were changed over to PUI black, with an aftermarket black carpet, though the rear seat and belts were dyed - poorly. The console was black when I bought it. Now I see that if I change it back to as-built colors, I'll need to paint my console!
Never really paid attention as it was a parchment bench seat car I converted to black buckets in the mid 80s The bench went into the dumpster(shame on me). Well, I guess the interior replacement just got cheaper...or did it?
I could swear I've seen it both ways in unmolested cars back when they were newer. Maybe the Toro had the white/white? Memory is the second thing to go.
