Is the 50th Anniversary OCA meet in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on July 28th - August 02, 2020 still proceeding or is there a possibility it will be cancelled?

 

There is a POSSIBILITY that anything will be cancelled. For now, it's almost four months away. No one can predict what will happen in four DAYS right now. Ask again in June.

And let's be serious here. As soon as an organization cancels an event, they have to issue refunds. No organization wants to do that before they absolutely have to. Don't expect any cancellation decision four months out, or even four weeks out.

 

True. A lot of unknowns between now and then.

The 2020 Yarmouth Car Cruise and Car Show that was scheduled for July 17th and 18th, 2020 has been cancelled. That show has around 700 vehicles on display.

 

Hope its not cancelled——-but as far as refunds go I had tickets to the Gator nationals that were cancelled—-No Refunds———think positive 👍

 

I'm predicting the 50TH OCA Nationals will be held in 2021. I hope all is well and I'm wrong but I don't think so.

 

I attended the 100th anniversary in Lansing, Michigan back in 1997. Great memories!

I am leaning towards the 2020 show being postponed until 2021 but time will tell. I just don't see it proceeding for this year but I could be wrong.

 

The May 30th, 2020 Greenwich Concours & Elegance show was cancelled. That's a pretty large show. They rescheduled for 2021.

 

As much as I hate to see it delayed, it would actually benefit me. My Jetfire will not be done on time for this show if it is not delayed. That said, did they ever decide on a place for the 2021 show if this one is not delayed?

 

I've heard rumors of it possibly being in the Pacific Northwest in 2021 . But I don't know for sure , so don't quote me .
I'm in the same boat as you . Mine won't be done until 2021 ( if I'm lucky ) .

 

Gator Nationals are currently postponed to June 5-7th

 

Some hard hit states like NY, Georgia, Maryland, will not be able to reopen until June 01st. The problem is if someone from a hard hit state goes into a state that is clearing up, then it can blow up all over again. There is some talk of a state to state travel ban once things start to reopen. It already has started with some state travelers having a 14 day quarantine for out of state visitors.

I just don't see the show happening for 2020. Too many issues and problems. Plus many people will be "gun shy" and not want to head out in the crowded public spaces.

The 33rd Annual Center of the Nation All Car Rally in South Dakota on June 20, 2020 has been cancelled.
