Had a wonderful day at our car show on Saturday, 9/21. I was busy most of the day directing visitors to the parking area and trying to keep certain areas clear so parked cars would have an escape route when the visitors decided to leave. But I did break free for an hour or so to look at some pretty nice cars and hot rods. We had 207 cars total at the show, with only 3 Oldsmobiles in the show and a real nice '68 VC that I found in the parking area (see pics below). The '50 88 won a trophy for "Best 50s Car" and the '70 4-4-2 won for "Best 70s Car". Since my '68 4-4-2 convertible was part of the club car display, it was not eligible for any awards. I wish the VC would have entered as I believe it would have won something - they have trophies for about every iteration of what you can think of! But the weather was great and the car show was a great success. Had a lot of fun, too, but was sure tired when I got home that evening!
