The Atlantic Nationals are this weekend. It's the largest show in the Maritimes. An estimated 1800-2100 cars on display. Four days!

I hope there will be some nice Olds there. I know of one '68 Cutlass taht will be there. Should I try to post a pic of every car there? Nope. Here's some info from the website.

Just a quick update. It is Sunday, day four. We drove the 3hrs to Moncton from Halifax on friday. Great weather, about 25C and sunny. I forgot how nasty vinyl and shorts in hot sun can be. It is great driving around and seeing that half the cars/trucks you see are older than 1985. We did not really do any festival stuff on friday except for checking in. I was, about, the 1500th car to check-in with almost 2000 pre-registered.

Saturday, RAIN, about 20C. It was supossed to clear up around noon. I left for the grounds at 10:30-11:00. Still raining, rained all day until almost 5pm.

There were still tons of car on show. The gates opened at 8am and when I was talking to one of the marshalls he said that cars were lined up at 7am to get the "choice spot." Me, I am just happy to be here.

Saturday night the city of Moncton closed down about 5 blocks of Main street and only allowed National cars downtown. The whole street was a free car show party. Every bar, pub and resturant had a line to get in. Fun fun fun!

I managed to run into Dennis Gage, he was braving the weather to meet and great fans. The rain did not same to bother him. Although I have seen him pull bug parts out of his 'stash after going for a test drive on TV so a little rain should phase him.

Now for the disappointing news. I walked around for hours. Saw 15-20 Beaumonts, a million Ford Chevy and Mopar. I counted 4-5 OLDSMOBILE. My '68 being the oldest. Two 70-72's, one convertible and one coupe, a later 70's Cutlass and 2 80's G-Body Cutlass and one '83 HO.

I only took a few pics on Sat, Sun promises to be sunny and 25C. Very nice for a show! I will post some later when I have more time. I sould be packing up to go to day 4!

Cheers all!
