I will volunteer again to head some sort of a get together. My thoughts as to getting a hold of my friend and zone director Ken Nichols about a possible borrowing of a not in use meeting room for a few hours.
The last get together was not taken seriously by the last restaurant about trying to isolate us!

It is so nice to finally have the OCA Nats back near the east coast again and look forward to seeing fellow ClassicOlsmobile members there. My club the DVOC got a letter this week regarding some confusion regarding the welcome party. Due to a miss print some people were notified the it was Wednesday night, others Thursday night. Based on the letter we received it has been confirmed that it is Thursday night so I wanted to get the word out to you all ! Here is the correspondence we had received from Darlene at the OCA.
Yes Tom, we have noticed this discrepancy as well. The most recent registration forms correctly indicate that the opening night at the Visitor's center is to be held Thursday evening. Additional changes to the March registration will include color choices for shirts and the price for the Friday ladies day at the Dobbins House is I believe to be $25.

I need someone to pick me up at the Harrisburg, PA Airport on Tuesday July 31 @ 4:00 PM at the American Airline pick up area. Then drop me off at the host hotel.
Returning to Harrisburg, PA for flight out on American Airline on Saturday @ 11:30 AM (will need to be leaving Gettysburg by 10:30 sharp)
I am willing to pay a fee of $150.00 ($75 for each trip) for pick up on July 31 and drop off at airport on Saturday, August 4th.

Well, it's getting closer. I sent in my registration probably a month ago but still haven't got back any confirmation. Have any of you? They have cashed my check so at least I know they got it. I checked again with the Wyndam and they say I'm good. Got the a/c fixed ( I hope) and am going to take the 71 Vert. Looking forward to it, last one we went to was Springfield. Glad to hear your'e getting together a dinner, Pat. Linda and I will be there. I think this will be a really good time and a great place.
I phoned a while back to make sure our rooms were still confirmed and everything was a go on their end at the hotel. We are way out west so won’t be taking any cars but are flying instead. Should be a blast. I get out to the Hershey swap meet and love this part of the state. Al

The annual drag race will be held Friday evening at Mason Dixon Dragway. John Stolpa of Rocket Racing will attend the meet, race with us, and talk about his race block and other performance parts. He will also discuss his restoration engine building program.
With deepest regret, I will have to step away from leading the C.O. meeting. I will have the entire family with me and those duties come first! We will be there later in the evening on Wednesday and the next day dedicated to an actual vacation day with cleaning the car. Friday is 60% dedicated to Judging.
Received my bank statement today which shows my cancelled check... I guess that's confirmation enough to start pulling parts and deciding what to let go of in my downsizing efforts...

Well this weekend is the once was GM Nationals, and what is now the Chevy Nationals in Carlisle ! Is anyone from ClassicOldsmbile attending ? We will be ready with our waders and umbrellas ! Stop over and see us at the Blue Grey/ Delaware Valley Olds Club tent ! At least it will be dry there ! Guess I'll consider this the prestaging for the OCA Nationals ! I'll be there Friday till Sunday morning with my drop top which I guess will be up most of the weekend !

Sorry Scott, I wasn't really throwing a stone, I was just making a statement... As you know, there was a check issue on the part of OCA's Bank (Bank of America) and not hearing any status until receiving my bank statement I was unsure of any real confirmation... Now I know all is good... Thank you for assisting in addressing the issue...
I will be there with my 72 Cutlass Convertible. I just reupholstered my seats last year with the Legendary Rallye Seat kits. I'm looking forward to cruising up from lower PA. And of course I'm a DVOC member too!!
