A few more .

The oldest Olds there was a 1917 roadster . With it's original flathead V-8 .
It was the only pre- WWII car .

I noticed the green 53 has a Dynaflow - Unusual today. One local guy has a 53 with one.

Unusual even back then .
The Hydra-Matic factory burned in the spring of '53 . The Dynaflow installation was a stop gap measure to keep production running . There were also a high proportion of '53s built with stickshifts to fill dealer stock orders .
In my 50 plus years of poking around old cars , This is the first one I had seen.

They were also the first to hit the junkyards - Hard to sell as used cars, as were standard shift cars everyone wants now. There is also a Cadillac locally with one. I have seen others - I have tried for years to find just the Dynaflow quadrant for my oddities collection - No luck.
