2014 Olds F body

2014 Olds F body
Disappointed by relatively poor sales of the new Camaro, GM has (finally) learned the lesson from Ford that retro sells, but performance sells even better. They also remember, and were reminded by a few old-time remaining engineers, that Olds wanted an F body but only Pontiac was allowed to share the Camaro platform back in the 1960s and 1970s.
Therefore, there will be a limited production run of 2014 Oldsmobile Tornado, with a twin turbocharged version of the latest DRCE engine and the Jerico DR4-4 transmission, in front of a Dearborn option 9" differential. The car has been submitted to NHRA and interim approval for AAA/Stock has been received.
Remember that this is the tenth anniversary of the demise of Olds in Spring 2004. The date of this GM announcement, which I tried to scan but couldn't get it to upload, is April 1, 2014.
