2 screws missing from carb

ok so i have attached 2 pics of these screws that are missing from the carb and are causing a significant amount of fuel to leak, i cant find them at the hardware store and today i might goto the engine rebuild shop and c if they have any left over, and if i cant find it there, does any 1 have any extra laying around?

Those screws aren't "missing". They thread in from the bottom and hold the throttle body to the float bowl. Use a small piece of wire and probe down in the hole to see if the screw is in there or not.

I'm with Joe on this one. Bite the bullet and remove the carb from the intake to access what should be phillips head cap screws under the base of the carb. They might be there and just be loose.

An added benefit of removing the carburetor would be that you could clean it really well with carb cleaner and a brush. That would help free up any sticky linkage.

Remove the carb from the intake. The heads of the screws are on the underside of the throttle body. To be honest, I'm having a hard time understanding how these two screws are causing a fuel leak. The float bowl is totally contained in the center casting. Only the idle circuits pass into the throttle body and in that case, fuel only flows when there's vacuum. Since the pressure in those idle circuits is below atmospheric, air would leak IN if there were a leak; fuel would not come out.

I suspect your leak is coming from somewhere else. You might want to take a look at this:
