when i put the breaker bar on the engine, I found that the radiator was sitting wrong in the car. Then i noticed the only thing holding it in was the radiator hoses. I cut them and the radiator hit the ground. I will have to get another respirator before i can do much with it. If I can I think i am going to strip it this weekend. I hope i can get all the good off of it in one day. I can not get the doors open so that will be this weeks project. That and somehow get it on my lift, I don't want to crawl around in rust on the floor.

So there's no frame from the rad support to hold the rad in place?

Sounds like it is much worse than it looks in pictures.

I sure would have liked to part these cars out but the rust was just to bad. Tuesday I done nothing more than jack the car up and put it up on blocks and was covered by rust. I broke out in a rash almost instantly. Me and rust just don't get along. I also get lung infections when I breath the dust. I called Scott to see if he wanted to part them and later that night Ron Memmer called me about some other stuff. I told him about the cars also and he came today and bought them.

So this is how it ended. took from 2006 till last week to get them and only took a couple days to realize I had to move them. I could have made much more off of them in parts but in the end I just can't risk another lung infection.

Could you let the new owner that I'm interested in the carb and distributor off the 69 442 4 speed car?
Thanks

Ron Memmer has them. 1-574-870-1309 You may have to try a couple times to get him. He will be busy getting ready for Carlisle for the next week.

I get the same thing when I inhale too much rust. Whenever I grind it, I have to wear a mask or I'm sick for days. I'm glad you were able to find someone to take them off your hands. Hopefully you didn't lose on them.
