He says he bought it "for investment." If true, he's certainly losing his shirt. I don't know exactly what the list price for this car was, but it had to have cost something in the $15,000 to $20,000 range at least back in 1991. He wants $9,000 for it now? In 1991 dollars, that's about $5,000.
So he spent at least $15,000 in 1991 and gets back, 16 years later, the equivalent of $5,000 in 1991 purchasing power, if he sells it for his asking price.
IIRC that vehicle was for sale back in March of this year... Wonder if it is the same owner making another effort to sell...
I looked into this car back then. He did not store the car very well at all. Has lots of defects and looks terrible under the hood. Not sure how it could look this bad being stored other than poor storage. I had 50,000 miles on mine and was cared for and looked nearly new.

agree, the under hood pictures are terrible. corrosion everywhere.
