1988 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser Station Wagon

We are looking for the center rear bumper filler for our 1988 Olds Custom Cruiser. We have the outer fillers but have not been able to locate the center filler. We think the part number is 20298260. Can anybody steer us in the right direction?

All of the 1980-1990 B-body wagons (Chevy, Buick, Pontiac, as well as Olds) use the same back bumper and fillers. Many vendors sell repros. All of the repros are ABS plastic, not the original soft plastic.

Here is a place that sells bumper fillers:

http://www.sandkindustries.com/index.html

The question is, are the bumper fillers for a sedan the same as for a wagon? I couldn't see any parts listed for a wagon. It would be worth contacting them though.

Sedan and wagon fillers are NOT the same, however as I noted above, Caprice and Custom Cruiser wagon fillers ARE the same. The vendor linked above has fillers listed under Caprice Wagon that are the same as those on a Custom Cruiser. Note that the repro fillers are rigid ABS plastic, not soft like the originals.

Thanks! They had the piece we needed. Now we are trying to find the bumper jack. This may sound dumb, but how do you access the spare tire compartment on the 1988 custom cruiser?

Well, start by reading the owner's manual...

The spare tire and jack are in the right rear of the load compartment. The plastic inner cover just lifts up. Note that this car does not have a "bumper jack". It uses a scissor jack.
