1972 Hurst/Olds W46

1972 Hurst/Olds W46

Interested in production data on these if known. All of the number's I've seen is on both the W45 (L75) and the W46 (L77) combined. I've heard of a few but have never actually seen one personally. I know the W45 came with G91 (3.23:1) and the W46 came with G80 (posi) & G92 (3.42:1) standard. But I guess the question is how many W46 hardtops and how many W46 coupes were built?

The L77 cars all have an X in the VIN. The last X code HO I saw was about 5 years ago. I have VINs for 2 X code HOs amongst the list of about 70 X code cars on my list. 1 hardtop & 1 convertible.

Was it the one in Massachusetts? I'm pretty sure it never sold

I know of 3 W46 Convertibles. One in CA, one In Wisconcin and one in MA. I know the owner of the one in MA and I dont think he wants to sell.

The MA one I was refering to was a sunroof hardtop car. At the time people were saying it may have been the only X VIN sunroof H/O made.
