1972 Cutlass S studders when I press the gas pedal

When I press the gas pedal half way, it studders then it revs. Sometimes it dies out when I press the gas on take off. AnyOne know what's wrong.?

It's most likely the accelerator pump. Napa has the rebuild kits for the Quadra Jet, as do many other venders.

My 350 has a 2bbl carb. Does it have to do with points maybe also?

Speech therapy...

X2 on an accelerator pump, also make sure your timing is set and advances correctly.
