1970 model year LANSING production

another thread got me looking into production numbers for 1970, specifically at Lansing

numbers I've seen:
165,218 full size
150,083 intermediate
&25,475 Toronado
340,776 total cars produced at Lansing, MI

How many shifts did Lansing run producing cars?
How many days production were employees working during the '70 model year?

I worked at a company that did prototype work for Delphi back in the '90s - the sales manager for that account had a Delphi union calendar on the wall of his office that showed just over 200 working days for the year - would this be similar for 1970?

using 200 days & 340,000 cars - that's an average ~1,700 cars per day

please help me comprehend how this is possible - or the flaw(s) in my logic.

Setting the pace says 16,700. And a close guess would by an additional 5000 for Fisher. I think this is an hourly worker number. Plants 1,2,3 and 4. If memory serves around the early mid eighties I think with plant 5 going it was around 31,000 salary and hourly.

In speaking with retirees around the Lansing area some where around 70 cars/hour and bare minimum of 2 shifts and I would like to think 3. You would also take into account Saturday and possible Sundays.
