1970 f85 post less?
I'm looking at a 1970 cutlass
Vin is 332770M I did some research online and read that all f85 are post cars. The one I'm looking has no post and 4 speed is it possible for it to be post less?

i dont think thats right.....i believe f-85s in 70 could be had hardtop post and 4 door..i seem to remember seeing a few hardtop f85s

Attached is the relevant page out of the 1970 Olds Full-Line Brochure. Note the car fourth from the bottom in the right-hand column. F-85 Sports Coupe, and it's the only F-85 shown.
FYI, here is the 1970 dealer brochure that shows the only F-85 as a Sport Coupe, with post.
According to the '70 Olds Chassis Service manual and the book Setting the Pace, the only body style offered for the F-85 was a 2-door post coupe called the "Sports Coupe."

and I love the people who belong to the Dept of Redundancy Dept and say they have a 70 F-85 post.
check the frame by the LH door just below the door hinge mounting. also the block ID pad and the blue tag at the lh door near the lock and of course the fisher cowl tag. if you really want to dig remove one of the frt door trim panels and the inner sheet metal support panel would be stamped 3277
