1970 Cutlass S Defroster Door Screw Placement

I have a question about where one of the screws should be placed. Does this screw go on top or bottom of that defrost door. Only thing I remembered when I took it apart was that it was a longer screw than some of the others I looked online trying get a sneak peak at one that was rebuilt on youtube and I did see the screw on top and in other video's showed no screw on top. Now I'm lost on where to put it. This is the last step before I install the heater\ac box back in the car and I just want to make sure its correct. Pics are included for reference ( not my pics)

I’m gonna say the screw in those pictures is not the original. It looks like a hardware store self tapping sheet metal screw. It will do the job but is a bit longer than necessary.

Understood but my question is does it go on top or bottom of the door? I'm trying to see if the function is to hold the door open just a bit when vacuum is applied or if it is to stop it from raising all the way up. None of those are my pics but when I broke my box down it looked like the top picture for sure. The other screws in the box are smaller. with the exception of a few that hold the vents.

Figured it out. The screw goes on top of door. Applied pressure to vacuum and it gave me the answers.
