1970 442 convert 4 speed
During halftime of the Super Bowl, I was perusing Phoenix craigslist 442 ads.What do I see on there but an ad for a 1970 442 convert 4 speed disassembled for 12,ooo!!!!! Serious only,blah,blah, had car since the 80's hmmmm,posted 19 hours ago,I'll call after the game. GONE,ad removed, double check my history,yep it was there.Anyone on here score this thing?

I looked at the car and passed on it. The car needs both quarters, deck lid, trunk floor, heavy rust at the bottom of the windshield, did not have the original motor and was missing the ram air hood and air cleaner.
The car was originally nugget gold with white top and interior but in my opinion it was 75k away from being a 55k car. My opinion just not enough to work with maybe you guys on the east coast that deal with rust regularly would be ok with the amount of work needed to put it back together but I am sure there would be more surprizes once you get in to the restoration.
