70 Cutlass convert 4 speed production #s

Does anyone know or point me in the direction how to find out how many 1970 Cutlass Convertibles with factory 4 speeds were made, This one had the 350 310HP motor.

Thanks,

Out of 11,354 Cutlass Supreme ragtops, only 71 had M21 4 speeds. It appears that there were some M20 cars too, but most of the '70 350 / 4 speed ragtops that I know of so far are M21 cars. None of the cars would be 455 4 speeds according to what is known today.

Thank you very much for the production numbers. Is that on any website or is that info only from the letter you posted?

Hi Larry -
I think my '72 V Code website is the only one that cares about tracking 4 speed cars that aren't W-30s. It's probably the only place you'll find that info published currently. I have copies of several letters like that one which came directly from Oldsmobile while the production records still existed.

Terry,

I have the wide ratio M20 Trans. I have all the original paperwork such as the order form they filled out with the salesman and the bill of sale when he took delivery and protect-o-plate.(This is the numbers matching trans)

How many M20 cars do you think they made?

I would think the M21 close ratio would be more desirable or rare.

Thanks again
