1969 442 driver door

I’m looking for parts for my 1969 442 driver side door, I was wondering if anyone here could help me?

I’m kind of unsure what the exact part is called all I know is I haven’t been able to find one on eBay or any other parts sources. The last picture is of the passenger side door and is the exact part that’s missing in the driver door.

Is it the channel the glass slides up and down in?

It is. It seems that only Oldsmobile used something like this? I’ve tried finding chevelle lemans and skylark doors and they are different. However I haven’t looked at 69 year cars I’ve seen 70-71s and they are different mechanisms.

OK, that's not typically a wear item so I doubt its available reproduction. I suspect you'll need to find a good used part, but that shouldn't be too difficult. Over the years I've sold several doors but usually strip the insides out to reduce weight in shipping. I may have the part, but am sure several other members here do too. John

Your right that’s it not a typical wear item, however I have looked over the years on eBay and craigslist and still haven’t found anything. I bought the car missing this piece and have hopelessly looked through the parts bins that came with the car. I have no idea why someone would have taken that out.

Sadly they probably were working on the door, laid that piece down, and lost track of it. I've drug home a lot of cars over the years that the previous owner had worked on, but life changed and the project never got completed. I'll look this weekend to see if I can come up with it. I've sent a message to Scott Winn, he goes by oldspackrat and has access to a lot of Oldsmobile parts. If he can come up with it he'll contact you. He's in Indiana, I'm in Oregon, where are you located?

I’m in the Central Valley of California, I haven’t messed with the poor car for well over a year, I believe the car to have only 42k miles because it was on a front end collision at some point in the mid 70s and hasn’t been on the road since. I’d like to just get her to drive the way she is and then fix her up.
