The Tri-power really woke up the 455. My dad found it in a barn (really... no lie), it was ALL nasty. The carbs were disassembled and powdercoated to look like satin polished aluminum and the intake was just cleaned and painted. The breather covers were really rough. We straightened them and then powedercoated the with krinkle coat finish. I already had the "B" heads on the car and didn't realize they were the correct heads for the L69. Sometimes you just get lucky. Still tuning and tuning and tuning.

Here's a picture of the motor. I just got a 90 degree fitting for the fuel line to get rid of the rubber line and the matching MSD coil wire. Can't wait to install these this weekend.
