Hard to really tell in photo but once I cut the back of the housing and bent it down I cut a U shaped channel to fit the grove under the light. I bent the corners inward to help reflect light forward and it made it so it will not pull off the plug . Ohh and cut the bottom stud off, overall it's on there pretty solid no movement at all when i plug in or out.

Yes very cool. The 69s are slightly slimmer. I wonder if they would be easier to work with? Better copy write it.

I just ordered another 68 and watching a auction for 2 69's. I am going to make a few and put them on ebay but not sure if someone would pay 49.00 cause much less and your making them for free. Also going to do one from a VW bug the teardrop looking blinker from mid 60's, my Daughter drives a bug so another x mass gift done hopefully.

Shoot, China could assemble these babies for about a buck a piece. Slave labor and no concern for the environment help. A real honest to goodness made in the U.S.A. Olds Nightlight is way more expensive to make here as you pointed out. I got an electric trunk release off epay the other day. Went on YearOne(?) and it was the same price new. My point? The one I have looks great and is stamped, "Made in the U.S.A." I'll take it over something that is coming from overseas any day.
I really like your work. Very imaginative and crafty. Plus, super cool. If you make one for me I'll give you fifty bucks for one. Plus shipping of course!
