1968 cutlass tire size 15x8 wheels

Hi, I have a 68 cutlass with 15 inch rally wheels and I'm looking for a good tire size. I want the rear to be a bit bigger to fill the wheel well better and a good front size that won't rub. Help is GREATLY appreciated! Pics are of the stance I'm looking for and 1 is of my wheels.

If you really want to fill the rear wheel well you need to have your rims widened to 10” with almost no offset, like 4.5 to 5.0” backspacing. Then you can easily fit a 295/50 15 back there. Thats what I plan on doing eventually.

Those are not 8" wheels, they are 7". Measure between the bead mounting surfaces. Same thing with diameter.
