1968 Cutlass S

So I found this car I want to buy for parts. Car came with factory 3 speed on the floor, tilt column 12 bolt rear and bucket seats. Does have some body damage. Right rear quarter was hit and needs replaced. Left front was also in a accident, radiator support was hit and has OPGI fender on it. What’s it worth? Should I buy it for parts?

can’t really tell without a few pics. I doubt it’s an original three speed. The TH350 wasn’t available until 69

Without any pictures I "see" with about $1200.00 worth of parts I know I could sell. If the price is less than that I'd probably grab it. Pictures will help more with valuation.

As Mike says pictures...and some money shots...door seams, rockers, trunk pan, undercarriage etc...rusty it isn't worth more than its parts. Clean with some metal body damage is another story. Frame damage or heavy structural damage puts it in the parts category too.
Cool car if it's salvageable.
You're in the south bay area. If that car has lived there all its life its likely clean.
If you are parting it I got first dibs on the tilt column and or the whole car.

rare car but not necessarily desirable. You can hardly give away a Deerborn three speed. Does it have a console ? Those alone are like a grand these days.

parts cars are getting harder to find these days , so if it has the parts you want and it is not overpriced buy it and sell what you don't want . I'm sure you could find a home for any extra 68 parts you have ,I would be interested in some 68 parts myself
