I can’t be positive but think this is a rear quarter bezel for 68 side marker lamp. Casting number is 400922.

 

I don't have the reference for the number. But the rear quarter panel marker lights, where they fit against the quarter panel were curved on the A-body and flat on the full sized. I'm guessing this is for a 88, 98 or Toronado.

 

I thought maybe a grille center as well.

I learned this during my trailer modifications. I adapted the rear of the fender flares to use Toronado marker lamps.

 

Hi, that is the “Nose Emblem” for 1968 88/98 cars… and it is totally different from the side marker bezels. See pic for comparison.. Hope this helps…Dave

 

Thanks Dave. It was missing the wider perimeter so I figured it was the grille one.
