Larry , good to hear you are in the neighborhood .
I was talking to another member of C.O. this evening @ Barrett - Jackson .
He will also be walking around at the Pavilions tomorrow in the afternoon
evening . When I mentioned you / your friends interest in the 67 W - 30 , he indicated knowledge of another car with a much more honest background , and much better price .
That yellow 67 W - 30 that we could be seeing tomorrow night is a well put together car . What has turned a LOT of people off about it is the STORY in explanation of how it is optioned . The reality is that it is a well turned out ,mostly stock , 442 . Nothing wrong with that . It will be interesting to hear what the current story is on the car . Does a guy named " Ray " , still own it ? . Are the A.C. lines still wrapped around the O.A.I. ? How do the rivets look on the cowl tag ?
What does the paperwork and pictures of the restoration look like ?
My plan is to be @ the Pavilions by 3 - 4 pm . If I see it , I will call you .
My cell ph # is 602 - 614 - 6440 . If it seems interesting , I will advise .
I could only take about 45 min. of hanging in the bidders area tonight .
The spending of incredible sums of cash on unsubstantiated or photo enhanced polished eggs was just too much of too much .
I had to leave ... I will call you if that 67 W- 30 shows up tomorrow .
Thanks , Jim Tuma

Jim We'll be at the Pavillions most of tomorrow afternoon. Look forward to meeting you and other C.O. members and hearing about the other W-30 and I'll tell you what I was told about yellow one. Last night was enough of crowds and stupid prices at B-J for me too. I won't be going back.
Thanks Larry 432-413-8439 cell

BIG swing and a miss.

I walked around every spot @ the Pavilions , and could not find that Yellow car . It seems like a perfectly great 35 - 40 K car that the owner wants 75 K for . If you are still in Phoenix , my Cell is 602 - 615 - 6440 . I might know where the car is being stored / marketed ?
I'm not happy with any 67 W- 30's on the radar in Phoenix . I do have a go to person out of Wisconsin that keeps tabs on the best of the upper Mid-West W - 30 cars . One of them might be in storage down here . If you are interested in his PH # , call me ..
I never made it to B - J Sat . or Sun . I just ran out of tolerance .
If you were @ Pavilions , what did you think of the 1st row where the Fouranado was parked ? And , there were some nice buys on many out of state muscle and pro - touring cars ...
I plan on visiting the museum / showroom where that aforementioned Yellow 67 W car we started discussing could be . Will advise if I pin details down .. Thanks , Jim Tuma
