Looking to sell my 1967 olds cutlass supreme convertible that I inherited. Mechanically the car is sound- frame is decent- body is just shot from being stored outdoors for 12+ years.
Had a body on restoration in the early 2000’s.
Things I’m aware of-
330 ci
th350 replaced the 2 speed jetway
disc front brakes
aftermarket rad
edelbrock performer intake
aftermarket hei
convertible motor works- switch burned out.
Have no idea how to price this- am in process of getting title in Missouri.
I don't think you need to overthink this nor try to pinpoint a value to the nearest half-cent. The car is VERY rough to say the least. Dented on one side, heavily rusted. It will require all new body panels. It is a convertible, so that's something. This car might be better as a parts car for the restoration of another '67 in better shape.
If you get $1000 for it, you'll have done well, in my opinion. Set an asking price of, say, $2,000, and see what happens. The marketplace will tell you very quickly if you have set the price too high.
It's probably worth a couple of grand just for parts. It may be a little far gone to make a viable project. But ... convertible!
I'd throw it out there on BaT for $3-4K and see if anything happens. Thing is, if your asking price is too high you can always lower it, but if you offer it too cheap you don't get a second chance (unless you have no scruples whatsoever). Let the market tell you.
If the floors are okay it might be a worthy project, if you can do some of the work yourself. Can you get floors for a 67? Anything is restorable with enough money.
