1966 Oldsmobile 98 Power Seat

Anyone know what years a 2 way power seat motor would interchange for a 1966 Olds 98?

I am looking at a 66 98 and the power seat motor is done, 12 v is there any relay wants to work.

The seat is too far front to drive, otherwise it would be a no-brainer.

I don't know the answer to your question, but believe I've got the parts from a 6 way power seat pulled out of a 1966 Toronado. You'd likely have to install the complete 6 way setup to make it work.

I thought about this some more and think its the transmission that's different between the 2 and 6 way seats. The electric motor may be the same.

2blu442:

I believe also the transmission from 2 way to 6 way is the only difference.

Problem now is that I typed 66 Olds 98, when it is actually 1968!

Nice looking land yacht! Have you pulled the trigger and bought it yet? I wish I knew what years interchanged for you. Visually, the motor looks the same from 1966 to 1971... but there may be suttle differences like brackets or wiring plugs. If nobody speaks up you might send a PM to Ken (Kennybill) as he's got a lot of experience with late 1960's full sized cars.

The "best offer" seems to be the problem now.

Seems like someone else has bid me up, or maybe its just a game by the seller?
